Expanding Our Campus

Our Greenspace is now open!

The Greenspace Project at Greenwood is now complete! It was made possible with the help of donors who came forward to support this next phase of Greenwood’s growth.

Access to this Greenspace is much needed for our Greenwood community. With more than 55 athletics teams and the vast majority of our students (97.7% in Grades 7 and 8!) playing on at least one Greenwood team, the new turf practice field will be exceptionally well-used. And, all students will have access to the space and the surrounding benches and tree canopy at breaks and lunch.

Our Greenspace is here and students are already running on its incredible turf, gathering with friends for fresh air under the pergola at lunch time, and connecting with classmates on the turf-mound seating on a sunny day.

Fall 2025: Construction is underway
Spring 2026: Turf Installed
Summer 2026: Finishing Touches
September 2026: Officially opened!
